Director Moxon Architects
Ben Addy established Moxon in 2004. He was educated at Edinburgh College of Art and the Bartlett School of Architecture. During the course of his studies he recieved the Edinburgh Architectural Association J.R. Mackay Medal and an RIBA commendation for his undergraduate work as well as a Distinction from UCL for his Diploma thesis.
Ben actively cultivates an inquisitive and exploratory design process in all the practice’s projects and holds particular responsibility for managing the practice’s competition and research output.
In addition to his role in Moxon, Ben also runs a Degree Unit in Architectural Design at the Bartlett Faculty of the Built Environment (UCL). He is a regular contributor to events and debates in the field of architecture with recent contributions to events held by the RIBA and London Architecture Biennale. Ben has lectured at universities thoughout the UK and Europe and has sat on the jury of a number of architectural competitions including being a Civic Trust Awards Assessor in 2004.
