Director- AOC Architecture
Vincent is a director of AOC Architecture Ltd. and also a Senior Urban Designer at Croydon Council. He studied architecture at the University of Cambridge and the Royal College of Art and worked for Levitt Bernstein Associates and Cullinan And Buck Architects before founding AOC in September 2003, when he also joined Croydon Council.
Working within London’s largest Borough has enabled Vincent to concentrate on developing urban policy and strategy, lead negotiations with developers and their consultants on key sites and provide critical advice on major development and regeneration schemes. Continuing involvement in architectural practice as a director of AOC adds to Vincent’s experience of working on a variety of projects, from private residential house extensions to urban masterplans; one-off gallery installations to broader participation and engagement projects.
Vincent is a studio tutor at London Metropolitan University and has taught at the University of Nottingham and the Welsh School of Architecture. He is also a visiting critic at several other Universities. Vincent sat on the Southwark Design Review Panel and is a RIBA London Policy advisor. He has written for journals and magazines, contributed to debates and has exhibited widely.
